PRICING

There is a flat monthly fee for weekly lessons during the school year. Payment is due on the 1st of each month.  Payment is made through an auto-pay system on your My Music Staff portal. The price is the same every month and holidays are already factored in. The first month of lessons will be prorated for new students.

 

30 min. lessons- $220/month                          

45 min. lessons- $320/month                         

60 min. lessons-  $410/month

90 min. lessons- $635/month

120 min. lessons- $820/month

Rates for 60 minutes or more can include lessons for multiple family members if they are back to back at the same location.

 

HOLIDAYS

There will be no lessons on the following dates:

Fall Break/Thanksgiving Nov. 23rd -Nov. 29th, 2026

Winter Break– Dec. 21st, 2026- Jan. 3rd, 2027

Spring Break– Mar. 15th – Mar. 21, 2027

 

Students may choose to skip lessons on the following Mondays Holidays and have that lesson credited:

Labor Day- Sept. 7th

Indigenous People’s Day- Oct. 12th

MLK Day- Jan. 18th

 

STUDENT ILLNESS

If your child is ill, please cancel your lesson. We follow AISD guidelines for illness (they must be free of the following symptoms for at least 24 hrs without the use of medication: temperature of 100 degrees or higher, severe and consistent coughing, nausea, vomiting, or diarrhea) If your child is not well enough for school, they are not well enough for piano. 

 

MISSED LESSONS

Please cancel your lesson as soon as possible if you have to miss it. Make up lessons are subject to availability and are not guaranteed.  Lessons missed without 24-hr notice for any reason will not be eligible for make ups. Missed lessons during the school year are not eligible for refunds.

NO UNATTENDED MINORS

A parent or guardian is required to be present at the home during all lessons. If the teacher arrives and the child is unattended, they will call to notify the parent and leave. 

 

TEACHER ABSENCES

In the event of teacher travel, illness, or emergencies, your teacher may offer a make up lesson. If you or your teacher decide not to do a makeup lesson, your account will be discounted so that the lesson is not paid for.

 

DISCONTINUING LESSONS

Please give 14 days notice if you wish to discontinue lessons. If lessons have already been paid for beyond 14 days, those lessons will be refunded. Lessons within those 14 days will not be refunded.
